HotDocs Group Reports Record Results for 2015

HotDocs, the global market leader for automated document assembly technology, has today announced that 2015 was another record year for revenues across the Group, with a sixth consecutive year of growth.

The HotDocs Group, incorporating HotDocs Limited and HotDocs Corporation, operates globally to supply industry-leading document assembly software to financial institutions, large corporations, law firms, global publishers and government bodies. Worldwide, more than one million users in over nine thousand organizations use HotDocs software to reduce risk, enhance compliance and increase operational efficiency when generating complex business documents.

For the fiscal year 2015, the HotDocs Group has recorded another year of double digit growth, leading to a record high in revenues for the Edinburgh-based company, which acquired the US HotDocs operation in 2009. Uptake of the company’s cloud products has doubled and the HotDocs International division had an excellent year, enjoying over 24% growth.

Highlights of the year included adding several large new banking clients in Europe, as well as signing up a number of new local and international partners, extending HotDocs reach into almost 60 countries.

2015 also saw the launch of the innovative HotDocs Market publishing platform in the United States, a service which has almost 7,000 available legal templates and more than 2,000 law firm subscribers as it reaches its first anniversary. This business is expected to more than double during 2016, as more publishers and subscribers join the service.

Russell Shepherd, Group CEO at HotDocs, commented: “We had another successful year in 2015 – recording our highest revenues ever. HotDocs’ continued achievements and position as market leader are a result of our commitment to providing the most powerful, flexible document assembly engine in the world.”

HotDocs is ramping up for an even bigger 2016, with increased investment in the expanding development team set to produce more new products to be released throughout the year, focussed on even greater flexibility and connectivity to integrate into partner and customer solutions.

Shepherd concluded: “2015 has been another landmark year for HotDocs. We are committed to continuous improvement of our product suite, services and support; and to HotDocs customers receiving a high return on their investment in our technology. I’d like to thank our fantastic team for continuing to deliver great value for our customers.”
