Illinois State Bar Association adds Automated Estate Planning Forms to HotDocs Market
HotDocs Market, the cloud-based document assembly service and online marketplace powered by AbacusNext, announced that the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) is now offering automated estate planning forms for ISBA members via the HotDocs Market platform.
ISBA has added a fully-automated estate plan drafting system to its IllinoisBarDocs product—available through HotDocs Market—which contains a wide library of Illinois-specific legal forms. The new Estate Planning forms support will or trust-based plans, and subscribers are guided through a simple questionnaire that results in a customized plan for clients. Each form is designed using HotDocs’ powerful document automation technology, enabling subscribers to quickly and easily generate a diverse range of documents. These fully automated forms make it possible to create accurate, customized documents that minimize risk and save time, effort and cost.
Chris Cardinal, Executive Vice President of Software Engineering for AbacusNext, commented, “We are thrilled that the Illinois State Bar Association has added a new set of forms to its already-successful IllinoisBarDocs product. The ISBA has put a great deal of effort into expanding the content of IllinoisBarDocs to make its members more effective and productive, allowing them to spend more time with clients and less time drafting legal documents.”
Tim Slating, Assistant Executive Director, Communications of the ISBA stated, “The new Estate Planning system and accompanying forms on IllinoisBarDocs were designed specifically for use with clients who don’t need complex estate planning — the vast majority under the new tax law. It’s yet another benefit to membership in the ISBA.”
